Welcome to AmeriCorps @ Salisbury University!

Over 25 Years of Service on Maryland's Eastern Shore!

ShoreCorps is an AmeriCorps State Program, working under the oversight of the Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism (GOSV) in Maryland. ShoreCorps is the AmeriCorps program at Salisbury University, but members do not have to be students to serve.  All members of the community are welcome to serve!

"Getting Things Done"

ShoreCorps members serve a year with a nonprofit or government agency to meet critical needs in their communities in areas of environmental education, youth development, older adult care, or financial literacy. In addition to helping to directly meet these needs in the community, members increase the capacity of their service sites as well. Previous partner sites have included the City of Salisbury, health departments, libraries and many more. We have a service experience fit for everyone!

"Lasting social change requires a commitment"

ShoreCorps members embark upon a challenging experience that will have a lasting effect on their lives and the lives of the people they serve. Members are up to the challenge of committing to one year of service to strengthen communities, encourage responsibility, expand opportunity, and get things done!
