Marketing and Communications Offices

Salisbury University is known for excellence in public education. For nearly a century, we have been helping students make a difference in the world around them. The stories of our students, faculty, staff and alumni are the “SU story.” Our job is to tell it.

Responsible for SU’s comprehensive communications efforts and initiatives, Marketing and Public Relations is dedicated to:

  • strengthening awareness of the SU story and building support among constituencies;
  • protecting and elevating the SU brand;
  • assisting members of the campus community with sharing information and knowledge; and
  • helping the public learn about SU and access its many resources.

With these communication priorities in mind, the offices that make up Marketing and Public Relations integrate SU’s message through print, electronic (digital) and broadcast channels to build awareness of SU’s excellent programs. Through these strategic communications, we play an integral role in promoting the University, helping it grow and exposing new audiences to Salisbury University.

Staff from the Public Relations and Publications offices work collaboratively with the associate vice president of marketing and public relations to implement the University’s integrated marketing plan through media strategy, advertising and media buying.

What We Do

It takes a team of professionals with expertise ranging from marketing to design to public relations to writing to visual and electronic media to tell SU’s story.
