Athletic Training

Athletic training is a health care profession that involves the prevention, diagnosis and management of active individuals who sustain traumatic or lingering injuries, or develop acute illness or other medical conditions that impair a person's normal function.

Salisbury University's Athletic Training Program is no longer admitting students. The program was accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), 2001 K Street NW, Third Floor North, Washington, DC 20006 USA. The program has chosen to Voluntarily Withdraw its CAATE Accreditation effective June 1, 2022.
