Applicants to the MBA program are responsible for presenting the following information for consideration for admission prior to the deadline. Please submit all materials to the Office of Graduate Studies and Research.
A. U.S. Resident Students

Submit an official copy of transcripts from all institutions of higher education attended. A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5 is required.
TOEFL Exam Scores with a 550 PBT (paper-based) or a 79 IBT (internet based) minimum needed or IELTS Exam Score with a 6.5 minimum required. There are no exceptions for non-native English speakers to be admitted without a test of their English proficiency.
Foreign Transcripts - Must be submitted in their original version, in English, with a GPA listed on a 4.0 scale and with credits comparable to SU credits. Otherwise, a professional course-by-course evaluation of all foreign academic transcript(s) is required. This professional evaluation will determine your academic level within the American system of education. The prospective student will be required to pay the cost associated with obtaining the evaluation (cost determined by agency). Agencies that hold membership with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. are recognized by Maryland State Department of Education. For a current list of members, please visit www.naces.org. Chinese applicants are required to provide an evaluation from the China Academic Degree and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC).

C. Additional application requirements for Domestic and International Students:
Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)* score sent to institution #6F2-SX-08 for part-time students OR 6F2-SX-78 for full-time students. Minimum GMAT score of 400 required. Applicants who have already taken the GRE revised General Test (August 2011 and later) may supply this score in lieu of the GMAT. Report must be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service (www.ets.org). A waiver of the GMAT/GRE requirement is an option for students who meet the following criteria:
Have an advanced degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher based on a 4.0 scale
Have a bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.50 or higher based on a 4.0 scale (no work experience required)
Have a Perdue School of Business bachelor's of science degree with a GPA of 3.30 or higher based on a 4.0 scale (no work experience required)
Have a bachelor's degree GPA of 3.25 or higher based on a 4.0 scale (with two years of relevant work experience*)
Three letters of professional or academic recommendation from individuals qualified to judge applicant's ability to do graduate work in business (include on online application). For more information, please check Salisbury University - Graduate Studies & Research
Current resume (attach to graduate application);
Essay stating reasons that pursuing a master's degree will meet personal, professional and academic goals and what is unique about the applicant's candidacy (maximum two pages, double-spaced), included on online application;
Completion of foundation courses with a grade of "C" or better before starting Graduate courses.
*Qualified/relevant work experiences is defined at the middle management level with supervisory/budget responsibilities or higher.

Minimum Standard for consideration for Admission:
The attainment of a total score of at least 1000 points based on the following formula:
200 x overall GPA (on a 4.0 scale) + GMAT score
The attainment of a total score of at least 1,050 points based on the following formula:
200 x upper-division GPA-last 60 credit hours + GMAT score.
Offers of admission are competitive to insure a high quality student body. Space availability in the program is limited. The above standards represent minimum standards only. Attainment of these totals does not guarantee admission. There are no exceptions for the GMAT.
Points may be added to the above totals for qualified work experience at a rate of 10 points per year for a maximum of 50 total points. Qualified/relevant work experiences is defined at the middle management level with supervisory/budget responsibilities or higher. Work experience will be reviewed by the MBA committee for admissions decisions.

Priority application deadline
ALL application materials must be received before the deadline to be considered a priority application. Application materials will still be accepted after the priority deadline but admission is based on seat availability and applicant's competitiveness with applicants already accepted into the program
