Welcome to the Corel to Microsoft Conversion Site for Salisbury University. The purpose of this web is to enhance the support services we
provide to our faculty and staff. We've provided a number of resources here to help you resolve
problems, report bugs, and suggest improvements to our products and service in
order to make the transition from Corel products (such as WordPerfect) to
Microsoft products (such as Word) as smooth as possible.
One of the support services that we are providing
is documentation. The following Word files are designed to assist you in
conversions and setting up Mail Merges in Microsoft Word. If a box appears
asking you to enter a username and password, click the Cancel button.

A header is simply the title of each field in a data source.
Creating a header source file is only necessary when the data source file
does not already contain field names. Without defined field names, Word
will use the information from the first record as the field names and the
first record’s data will not merge with the document. |
