Wellness @ SU
Wellness is the state of wellbeing that is directed toward achieving and maximizing your individual potential. Wellness @ SU encourages the lifelong process of creating healthy, purposeful and balanced lifestyles within the Salisbury University community by focusing on seven dimensions of wellness. Through the program, you can establish critical components of wellness, along with ways to analyze your personal level of wellness.
Exhibit an awareness and acceptance of one's feelings.
Respect those living in your environment as well as the physical environment itself.
Engage in creative, stimulating mental activities.
Preparing for work in which one will gain personal satisfaction and find enrichment in one's life through work.
Encourage regular physical activity, good nutrition and medical self-care.
Contribute to the common welfare of one's community through an emphasis on the interdependence with others.
Seek meaning and purpose in human existence by developing an appreciation for the depth and expanse of life and natural forces that exist in the universe.
