Like other organizations across the U.S. and around the globe, the American Lung Association in Maryland is experiencing the pinch of the economic downturn. However, the urgency for our work has never been greater. Your financial support now will ensure that our efforts continue to make a difference in the lives of people with lung disease.

Our third-annual Baltimore Stadium Trek, on March 14, 2009, featured a record number of Trekkers! About 350 people came out to walk, jog, run and climb in, up, down and around Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium, and we had help from more than 55 volunteers and vendors. Thank you for making the event a success! There's still time to donate to the Trek -- donations will be accepted until April 15.

Enjoy a weekend ride through sun-kissed fields, historic towns and sandy beaches of the Eastern Shore, and make a difference in the life of someone with lung disease! This pledge-based bike tour and in-line skating event starts and ends in Salisbury, Md., and is open to all cyclists and skaters -- novice to expert.
