Note: A calendar folder or page has to be set up for you ahead of time. Please enter a web site work request to ask for a calendar.
To login – go to the page and click © (copyright ) sign at the bottom of the page – login with your SU username and password.
To add events – open the ‘events-list’ block for editing:
Then, enter an event:
All Day: – select ‘true’ or ‘false’ – if true – then enter a date, if false – then enter a ’Start’ and ‘End’ date and time
Title: enter a Title – this will appear on the calendar
Location: enter a location
Event > Details: if the event needs a description or a link to a web page or file, click ‘Event > Details’ and enter what you need
Page: you can browse to another page in the CMS
File: you can browse and select a file (like a PDF)
Ext. Url: you can enter a web address – must begin with ‘http://’
Sym Link: you can select a maintained external link called a sym link (probably won’t need this)
Description: enter a description – you can put links in here too.
To enter another event – click the green + button and you’ll get another event template.
Click Submit when you have entered all the events you need.
Then you need to publish the index page (don’t forget to click ‘Submit’ to complete the publish):
