Anatomy of a page

The standard SU page breaks down into three main areas:

  1. The site menu at the left
  2. The page header (and meta data)
  3. The page content (page text blocks and badge menu)

The site menu is made up of the Site Menu Display Name (pulled from the display name of the site or sub-site folder or the display name for the menu if present), Menu Navigation Groups (white text on maroon background), and Menu Navigation Items. Beyond the standard menu, we have three types of specialty menus available: fly out, accordion, and toggle. These menus are reserved for sites with a need for many navigation groups and items. Please enter a work request if you feel you need a specialty menu. To learn how to edit your site menu, see the Edit your site menu "How-to" topic.
