Students will be given two weeks to develop the first draft of the paper. The instructor will review and provide written feedback on how well the students satisfied the requirements for each criterion (content, organization, writing mechanics, citations and references) outlined in the rubric. The instructor will also discuss with students orally the written comments/suggestions made if necessary. Once the students are clear about what improvements are needed, they will be given another week to revise and prepare the final copy. Students will read their papers to the class and receive from their peers an evaluative score as additional feedback. This evaluation, however, will not influence the final grade which is based on the instructorsí assessment of the written paper.
