Jess Weber
is a graduate
assistant at the University Writing Center, currently working toward a
Master's in composition and
rhetoric. She is from the Philadelphia area and earned her B.A.
in creative writing
at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. During her time as an
undergraduate, she drove cross-country for
several weeks, published her first book, and organized several concerts
and benefits for the non-profit organization
To Write Love On Her Arms. When not writing or consulting with
students, Jess enjoys photography, running, and baking cupcakes at
obscene hours of night. |

Molly Phelan
is
pursuing a Master’s degree in composition, language, and rhetoric while
working as a graduate assistant in the University Writing Center. She
earned a B.A in English literature from Bloomsburg University of
Pennsylvania, where she worked as a Writing Center consultant for three
years.
She is from the Philadelphia area
and enjoys going to see bands, such as Dr. Dog
and The Day Life, and she loves her fish
Moronica. |

Keith Mathias is a
graduate student in the English Department's
Literature program. He spends most of his free time hanging with his
friends and playing video games. Keith likes to write. He is a major metal-head, but his musical tastes have expanded a lot
over the last year to include bands like She Wants Revenge and The Mars
Volta. Keith is a major movie buff and his favorite color is red. |

Sam Zerhusen
is a
senior at SU and an English major in the film concentration, with a
minor in history. She is from Baltimore and went to an independent
school called The Park School, where both of her parents have taught and
three siblings have attended. This will be Sam’s third year working at
the Writing Center, and she has loved getting to work with so many
different students during her time at SU. In her free time, Sam loves to
watch Turner Classic Movies, and her favorite TV shows are
Friends and
Mad Men. |

Sherita Roundtree
is a senior majoring in English secondary
education. She is from Harford County, MD and loves to visit home when
she gets the chance. This is her second year working as a writing
consultant at the University Writing Center. She feels that working at
the Writing Center is an awesome experience to help others in their
pursuit of becoming stronger writers. |

Sarah Krauss
is currently a junior working
towards a double major in communication arts (with a focus in
journalism) and English (with a focus in rhetoric and writing). She is
also the copy editor for the Salisbury University student-run newspaper,
The Flyer. Sarah loves dancing anytime or anywhere, napping, and
hanging out with her girlfriends. Her favorite animals are jellyfish and
her favorite meal is pizza with ranch dressing and Diet Coke. |

Sarah Jansson
is a junior studying English secondary
education. When she is not working in the Writing Center she can be
found in the SGA office, where she is the executive vice president. In
what little free time she has, Sarah enjoys watching movies on rainy
days and hanging out with her best friends/ roommates. She also has a
secret obsession with The Real Housewives and her dog Pebbles. |

Gayle
Metzger
is a junior pursuing a
degree in English secondary education. She is interested in teaching
middle school English one day and plans to get a Master’s degree in
English when she has completed her undergraduate work. She’s from the
Salisbury area and graduated from Parkside High School in 2009. She
loves to read, especially on the beach, and enjoys watching movies and
hanging out with good friends. |

Noelle Ford studies
Spanish and English
with a concentration in creative writing. She will be studying abroad in
Malaga, Spain during spring of 2012. She hopes to one day pursue her
Ph.D. in Spanish literature. But for now, she is happy spending her days
at SU, studying in the Honors House,
and tanning with friends behind the Alumni House. |

Zakiah Baker
is an English major with a concentration in creative writing, and
a communications minor. She plans to further her education in graduate
school with a concentration in writing and rhetoric. She hopes to one
day have a career that combines her passions of talking and writing.
Zakiah enjoys listening to neo–soul artists such as Jill Scott and
Erykah Badu. She loves to imitate these artists when she sings. She
has a love for animals and she enjoys spending time with her
pit bull “Kizzie.”

Maggie Collier
is in her junior year and is
from Wilmington, Delaware. She decided to become an English major
because of her love of poetry and research, and has a minor in
environmental studies. Maggie enjoys reading
Shakespeare and Anthony Trollope, writing, dancing, and jogging.

Kelsey Hovermale is
a junior studying communications and
English. She is a student by day and aspiring
comedian by night, so please send your pity laughs
her way. Kelsey says that if she's not
chowin’ down at Gulls Nest, you may catch her
singing with Squawkappella, the a
capella group. Campus
activities beyond the Writing Center include serving as the
vice-president of.
Squawkapella and giving tours for SU's Admissions department.
Her friends and family are the most important
things in the world to her; Kelsey has
a younger brother and three dogs at home that Ishe
misses on a regular basis. |

Alice Murphy
is
pursuing a degree in clinical laboratory science/medical technology in
the hopes of working in cancer research or cancer wards of
hospitals. She is originally from Hockessin, DE but highly enjoys living
in the Salisbury area with all of her
friends. She likes to curl up and watch a good movie in her down time
and is always ready to satisfy her sweet tooth, but also enjoys going on
runs and staying fit.

Dr. Nicole Munday
is the Director of the Writing
Center
and Assistant Professor in the English Department. Prior to her
career in teaching, she worked as a journalist, focusing primarily on
political reporting and feature writing. Her interest in writing centers
began when she worked as an undergraduate writing consultant at her alma
mater, the College of William and Mary. Nicole has been at Salisbury
University since 2000. |
