The Department of Information Technology is actually four departments in one. It provides the following services:

• Administrative computing support 
• Telecommunications and data infrastructure
• PC support,  academic computing, Helpdesk services,  and classroom technology
• Systems engineering

IT includes over 40 employees and has another 30 or so student employees who learn while they earn.  Almost every aspect of university business is touched by information technology.
