Poster Presentations

Poster presentations are visual summaries of research enhanced by student explanations and experiences.  This year, the poster session will take place in the Wicomico Room from 6:00 – 7:30pm on the day of the conference.  This room will be set up for the posters and buffet dinner.  Students must arrive no later than 5:45 to set up their posters and are expected to be present for the full session.   Posters can be as large as 4 ft X 5 ft, but do not have to utilize this full area, and must be mounted to cardboard or another rigid material.  We recommend using a tri-fold poster board sold at retailers including Office Max, Staples, the campus bookstore and Wal-Mart.  The mounted posters (those attached to cardboard or another rigid material) can be leaned against metal stands (which will be provided) for table top display.  No other supports may be brought by presenters.  Posters on tri-fold boards can be displayed on the table tops without using the provided stands.
