Jessica A. Hindman-Wheatley

 

Jessica Hindman-Wheatley (2008) is an adjunct instructor in the Department of Theatre and Dance at Salisbury University. She teaches courses in creative modern dance and jazz dance.

 

Mrs. Hindman-Whatley is a certified dance instructor through Dance Educators of America. She trained with the Pennsylvania Ballet under the tutelage of Tatjianna Akinfieva-Smith and Alexi Charov. She performed with the Pennsylvania Ballet and the Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre and professionally as a guest artist with the Diamond Dance Company (Delaware). Her choreography credits include several works for the SU Dance Company and 14 senior class productions for Cambridge South Dorchester High (Maryland).

 

Mrs. Hindman-Wheatley founded the Eastern Shore Dance Academy (Cambridge, MD) where she teaches classical ballet, jazz tap, hip hop, modern, musical theatre, and choreography. She is the Artistic Director of the Cambridge Ballet Company, a non-profit organization that introduces the art of dance to the community.
