Cellular Plans

The State of Maryland contract with AT&T Wireless has several plans and phones to choose from.  These plans are based on a per minute rate and not a bundled minute package.

Statewide Plan

This plan will allow you coverage within the State of Maryland.  Any calls placed outside the coverage area will be subject to roaming fees.  The features included in this plan are: nationwide long distance, voicemail, caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, 3-way calling and detailed billing.

Monthly Access Fee - $10.00, Airtime per minute $.07, Roaming per minute $.79

Nationwide Plan

This plan will allow you coverage within the United States.  Since this is a national plan, there is no roaming fee.  The features included in this plan are: nationwide long distance, voicemail, caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, 3-way calling and detailed billing.

Monthly Access Fee - $13.99, Airtime per minute $.13

Nationwide Bundled (Minutes Included) Plan

This plan will allow you coverage within the United States.  You will have a set number of anytime minutes and, if applicable, unlimited night & weekend minutes.  The features included in these plans are: nationwide long distance, caller ID, call waiting, 3-way calling, call forwarding, wireless Internet access ($.01 per KB), text messaging ($.10 per message), voicemail and detailed billing.

Cellular Phones

Each phone comes standard with a battery, AC charger, and ear-bud/headset.  The cost of additional accessories may vary.  Contact the Telecommunications Office for more information.
