CATV (Cable Television)
CATV is available in all of our residence halls. SU
offers over 70 channels for your viewing pleasure. Listed below is our
lineup.
Please note that there is only one cable outlet per room. We provide
the outlet; you must provide the actual cable to connect to from the outlet to
your television. The cost of cable services is included in your housing
fee. We do not offer premium channels (i.e. HBO, Showtime, Encore).
Before you begin channel surfing, please make sure you have properly
programmed your television to receive our cable services. You must make
sure your TV is set to receive Cable TV and not Air or Antenna. Once you
have changed that setting, the next step is to set the Auto Program your
television to select all the channels we offer. This option is available
somewhere in your menu options. After that, you should be able to view all
the channels listed below.
To report a problem with your cable television, call the campus switchboard,
x36000. Be sure to leave your name, building and room location and your
on-campus phone number. Someone will be in touch with you to remedy the
situation.
