Mrs. Linda K. Conner is an elementary
education instructor at Salisbury University. She holds a
Bachelor’s degree from Tusculum College, Tennessee and a M.A.
degree from Wilmington University, Delaware. Her area of
concentration is science. Mrs. Conner teaches science for
elementary school teacher candidates.
Mrs. Conner started her career as an elementary school teacher
in 1968. She taught elementary level for 36 years with great
success and this is her fourth year working for Salisbury
University, teaching courses to undergraduate students in
elementary science. Her interests include environmental projects
and science related topics of various kinds.
As a teacher in elementary school, Mrs. Conner has been a member
of the Staff Support Team Chairperson; a Grade Level
Chairperson; a P.T.A. Teacher representative; a co-operating
teacher to student teachers for Salisbury University; and a
mentor to new teachers.
Mrs. Conner is the SU liaison for East Salisbury Elementary
School and she also supervises SU interns.
