Dr. John Bing
Dr. John Bing is an Associate Professor of Education
at Salisbury University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree
from University of Vermont, an M.A. from Ball State
University and a Ph.D. from The University of Georgia.
His area of concentration is Psychology, including
educational psychology. Dr. Bing supervises student
teaching interns during their experiences in Public
schools.
Dr. Bing started his career as an instructor in 1968.
Since then, he has been teaching psychology with great
enthusiasm and success. His interests include teacher
education and professional development schools.
Dr. Bing has presented at the National Professional
Development School conference in 2007. His work has been
published in the Journal of Education Psychology.
Collaboration with school-based educators is a high
priority for Dr. Bing. As a result of this
collaboration, teacher candidates receive desirable
internships in local Professional Development Schools.
Dr. Bing’s professional affiliations include the
American Educational Research Association and the
Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
