Background Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society in education. Founded in 1911, the organization has more than 55,000 members in 665 chapters worldwide. Famous KDP members include Albert Einstein, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jean Piaget and George Washington Carver. The Rho Eta Chapter at Salisbury University was installed on April 22, 1987. We have received numerous awards from the national office for chapter excellence.
Requirements for Membership
Undergraduates: Enrolled in or entering education program (3.0 GPA)
Graduate or Post-Bac: Completion of 6 hours (3.25 GPA)
Complete the online Rho Eta application at http://bit.ly/RhoEtaApp and submit your cash, check, or money order for $15 to Dr. Alexander Pope’s office in TE278. Make checks payable to "Kappa Delta Pi". Be sure to include your name!
Attend the initiation ceremony.
