Salisbury University Climate Action Plan

The purpose of the SU Climate Action Plan is to define a strategy to reduce and offset our greenhouse gas emissions to zero by the year 2050. The plan was developed by a team comprised of students, faculty and staff during the summer and fall of 2009. The 2010 Climate Action Plan is a framework which will shape the University's efforts over the coming 40 years, while being flexible enough to adjust to unanticipated technology, challenges and opportunities.

The Climate Action Plan is a living document which will be revisited regularly.  The campus community is encouraged to review the 2014 document and provide suggestions using the comment link, below.  The University Sustainability Committee will review suggestions, make decisions regarding modifications to the plan, and provide progress reports to the campus community via this web page.
