At the completion of Phase II, all main academic buildings will have at least one bottle filling station, except for Blackwell Library. Due to the age and construction of the building, retrofitting an existing drinking fountain is not feasible. However, further investigation of alternatives for Blackwell will be performed. Additional locations will be added based on need, demand, and budget.

These complimentary water stations filter tap water and allow hands-free filling of reusable water bottles. Many of the devices provide a digital readout which indicates the number of plastic bottles avoided. The water bottle refilling stations have been well-received by students, faculty and staff.
More Information:
Additional water bottle filling stations will be added to other buildings in the near future. Information about filter performance may be found at the
Elkay website.
