Family Day will take place on Saturday, October 14th, 2006.

Family Day is a Salisbury University tradition and a day for the entire family. Students and their families are invited to attend the homecoming and family day from October 13-15, 2006.

Salisbury University has athletic, cultural and social offerings as well as an opportunity to share good food and fun. Family Day is packed with activities for SU families and alumni. Space is limited for some events so early registration is encouraged.

Closer to Family Day, A brochure will be mailed to students (and parents) containing a registration form. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP at that time. In addition to the mailed form, the registration form will become available on this website.

10 a.m. Golf $60/player or $200 per team Varsity Club Sponsored 9:00 check in - 10 a.m. Shotgun start. 4-person Captain's Choice. Open to everyone, including beginners. Soft spikes or tennis shoes are required. Prizes awarded to closest to the pin, longest drive, highest team score and best team score. Limited space. Pre-registration required. 8 p.m. SU Theatre Presents - Hay Fever $10 - Sr. Citizens & non-SU students $12 - Adults: One free ticket with SU ID Sir Noel Coward was a child prodigy. Hay Fever was written in 1924 when he was 25, and it became his third successful production. Coward was known for his protrayal of spoiled rich English folks acting badly. 10-12:00 noon Center for Conflict Resolution Open House Founded in a joint effort by students and faculty in 1992, the Center for Conflict Resolution now offers an undergraduate degree in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution and houses the Community Mediation initiative offering mediation for disputes both on-campus and throughout the community. We will have a mediation demonstration and light refreshments will be served. 12-6 p.m. BLOCK PARTY Under the planning of the Student Government Association, clubs and organizations will line up on Wayne Street and the intramural fields, providing games and other activities geared for people of any age. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture Open House Featured among the activities is a memorial tribute to Dr. William Wroten, who passed away in March of this year.  For twenty-five years prior to his retirement in 1980, Dr. Wroten taught history and chaired the Department of History and Political Science.  Please join us to see what the Nabb Center has been up to and has planned for its 25th anniversary year in 2007.
