Accuplacer Math Assessment Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
Incoming freshmen who are registered to attend Summer 2012 Preview have
received information regarding the Accuplacer math assessment, which they will
complete during Preview. Any and all students with disabilities who need
accommodations for completing this assessment must have prior approval from
Salisbury University’s Office of Student Disability Support Services (OSDSS).
Students with disabilities who wish to request accommodations for the Accuplacer
math assessment will find two useful documents on this webpage: 1) the
Accuplacer Accommodations Request Instructions; and 2) the Accuplacer
Accommodations Request Form. In order to ensure that accommodations can
effectively and efficiently be met for students with disabilities, all students
wishing to seek accommodations for the Accuplacer math assessment should review
this information and complete the request process as soon as possible.
Students should note that approval for Accuplacer math assessment accommodations
does not result in their being registered with the OSDSS, which is required for
requesting accommodations in academic courses. To learn about how students with
disabilities can register with the OSDSS, please visit the “Registering for
Services” link on the OSDSS website.
