Erin’s home is in Maryland’s Charles County, where she is the youngest of six children and one of three girls. Her love of music is inherited from her very musically inclined family, beginning with her parents, who both play piano. Erin’s father played keyboard in a well-known band, the Manhattans, and also composes music. The love of music extends through her siblings whose instruments include flute, saxophone, drums, guitar, voice and lastly, violin for Erin. Her love of the violin began at the youthful age of 9 and continued as she played in orchestras throughout her schooling, including the All-County and Tri-County Orchestras, as well as playing for her church and other venues. Erin is currently a sophomore at Salisbury University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Art, and intends to stay actively involved with the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra. It is her intent to pursue a career in art therapy for children.
