What type of art do you create?
Music
Describe your artwork/
performance style.
I play the classical violin
When did you start creating your art?
I began playing the violin when I was around 8 yrs old
What inspires you?
I am inspired by the arts as a whole.
I love to look at beautiful artwork
watch dance performances, and music of
all genres.
What are the challenges of creating your art?
I have problems with my neck and spine.
At times my hands have pain in them,
and I can not play.
Do you make a living through your art?
I teach strings in the wicomico county Schools
Do you have a job outside of your art?
No.
Who is your favorite artist?
Joshua Bell
Where in the community can your artwork be
seen/heard?
I play in the Salisbury
Symphony orchestra, The Asbury
orchestra and in a string trio.
What do you think the Eastern Shore can do to improve
its arts scene? I would like
to see string programs in all of the schools throughout the
Shore.
Right now only Wicomico has a program for all
levels,Worcester is starting a program in the elementary school
in Berlin.It would be wonderful to see this happening in all
counties.
