While your course of study follows the same plan as those at the Main Campus, there are a few additional things you need to think about.

For all students attending a satellite site:
  • Three Social Work courses are offered at the sites each semester

  • The classes are in the evenings - usually two nights per week

  • Classes are taught as distance classes (the professor is not usually in the classroom with you) using live interactive video, with a facilitator in the classroom

  • There is an online component to every class, so you need to have computer equipment and high-speed internet access.

For BASW students:
  • While you are taking the BASW courses, you will also need to take additional courses from a four-year college or university in order to have the 120 required hours to graduate.
