To get you oriented, the Social Work Department has implemented the following:
Required New Student Orientation at your campus! In an effort to be more student-friendly and to keep our students from driving during summer vacation traffic, the Social Work Department is holding a required orientation at your satellite or main campus location. Mandatory orientations will be held the week of August 13, 2018. Please check your campus email for the day/time that applies to you.
The orientation will give you the opportunity to learn what is required in the Master of Social Work program and the expectations from your field education experience. You will be introduced to the Directors of the Graduate and Undergraduate programs, the Field Education Office personnel, your advisor as well as get to know other new social work students. While you are in attendance, you will receive pertinent information regarding the course management system CANVAS. This orientation will conclude with a Q and A session.
