MSW Checklists & Schedules

(For Students in Stateside and Online Options)

There are several different curriculum options available for students working towards completing the Master's Program.

62-CREDIT FULL-TIME TRADITIONAL PROGRAM:

A two-year program for students with Bachelor's degrees in fields other than social work, students who graduated from a CSWE accredited undergraduate social work program more than 5 years ago.

62-CREDIT PART-TIME TRADITIONAL PROGRAM:

A three-year program for students who fit the criteria for Traditional Full-Time, but have other obligations that make full-time enrollment difficult.

32-CREDIT FULL-TIME ADVANCED STANDING PROGRAM:

A one-year program for students who graduate from a CSWE accredited undergraduate social work program who meet the criteria including a GPA of 3.2 or above.

32-CREDIT PART-TIME ADVANCED STANDING PROGRAM:

A two-year program for students who graduated from a CSWE accredited undergraduate social work program who meet the criteria including a GPA of 3.2 or above. 

62-CREDIT ONLINE MSW CURRICULUM

A three-year program for students who have completed a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum 3.00 GPA on upper division courses and a 3.0 GPA on the 120 credits leading to the bachelor’s degree.  (Available only to current full-time residents of Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia or Pennsylvania.)

32-CREDIT ADVANCED STANDING ONLINE MSW CURRICULUM

A two-year program for students who have completed a baccalaureate degree in Social Work from an undergraduate social work program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education within the last three years with a minimum 3.2 GPA on social work major and prerequisite courses and a 3.2 GPA on the 120 credits leading to the bachelor’s degree.  (Available only to current full-time residents of Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia or Pennsylvania.)
