B-HIPP Salisbury intern program seeks applications for
the 2013-14 academic year
B-HIPP (Behavioral Health Integration in Pediatric Primary
Practices) Salisbury is a project funded by Maryland’s Mental Hygiene
Administration. Salisbury University’s Social Work Department, John
Hopkins’ School of Public Health, and the University of Maryland’s School of
Psychiatry all have projects which comprise the B-HIPP Maryland Program. The
B-HIPP Salisbury Intern Program recruits, trains, places, and supervises
concentration level MSW interns in pediatric offices. 2013-14 interns
will be placed in either the lower or mid-shore areas, for 3 day/week
placements. Due to the needs of the pediatric offices, only those students
with the ability to be placed 3 days/week will be considered for the 2013-14
academic year.
Those selected for these placements must be available for a
required 2 day pre-placement summer training in late August, which will be held
on the main campus.
Please download the
application and
submit to with the requested supporting documents to the field office with your
field application for the Fall. Applications will be reviewed as they are
received for the limited number of available placements.
