B-HIPP Salisbury intern program seeks applications for the 2013-14 academic year
B-HIPP (Behavioral Health Integration in Pediatric Primary Practices) Salisbury is a project funded by Marylandís Mental Hygiene Administration. Salisbury Universityís Social Work Department, John Hopkinsí School of Public Health, and the University of Marylandís School of Psychiatry all have projects which comprise the B-HIPP Maryland Program. The B-HIPP Salisbury Intern Program recruits, trains, places, and supervises concentration level MSW interns in pediatric offices. 2013-14 interns will be placed in either the lower or mid-shore areas, for 3 day/week placements. Due to the needs of the pediatric offices, only those students with the ability to be placed 3 days/week will be considered for the 2013-14 academic year.
Those selected for these placements must be available for a required 2 day pre-placement summer training in late August, which will be held on the main campus.
