Assessment of Social Work Practice Competency

The Council on Social Work Education’s (CSWE) 2008 Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS) outlines ten competencies that are common to all of social work practice. These competencies represent dimensions of social work practice that all social workers are expected to master during their professional training. Salisbury University Social Work Field students are assessed on their mastery of the 52 practice behaviors associated with the ten competencies.
The following report is made available to demonstrate our students’ mastery of these social work practice behaviors in our programs.
