Eastern Shore Senior Games
May 1-3, 2014
10 Sports, 40 events, 50 years and up
Salisbury University hosts the 15th annual Eastern Shore
Senior Games. Seniors age 50+ choose from a venue of
events that include aquatics, cycling, fitness
testing, golf, pickleball, 5K run, table
tennis, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
Residency in Maryland is not required. Keep
checking back for updates, or like us on
compete in the following age groups:
50-54, 55-69, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+

Friends, Athletes, Welcome back
We have taken steps
to improve the event, eliminating some
sports that have shown decline in
participation, includingBasketball and Bowling,
and increased staffing, organization, and
time for events that have grown and
flourished such as Pickelball and Volleyball.
Our tried and true sports Tennis, Track
& Field, and Swimming will
run largely the same as usual. Table
still be offered at this time and we hope to
grow our 5K and Cycling events
this year. Finally, by popular demand we
will offer FREE
Fitness Testing to
all participants Saturday,
May 3rd from 9
a.m. to 2 p.m. in Magg's
To honor our
accomplished athletes and in the spirit of
camaraderie of the games we will again hold
of the Year Awards Ceremony.
Athletes can nominate themselves or each
other. Family and friends are also
encouraged to nominate the athletes they
support. Nominees that our panel finds to
have shown the most athletic ability,
dedication, and community support will
receive recognition in the form of an award
and an opportunity to speak to the audience.
Light snacks and refreshments will be
served. The ceremony takes place in the Perdue
School Lobby, across from Magg's Gym, on
Friday, May 2nd (4 - 6 p.m). All
participants are invited to attend the
ceremony, which will be casual. Please RSVP
indicating the number of guests upon

Brochures are in the design and print phase and will
be mailed out the first week of March. In
the meantime, all information and schedules
can be found here, on the web.

Friday and Men's
