Happy Holidays!

As we approach the end of the calendar year, the Seidel School of Education and Professional Studies faculty, staff and students have increased our activity preparing for the end of classes and participating in our ongoing restructuring. This year marked the beginning of some of those changes. In order to best serve our students our education departments have realigned, moving away from the previous Teacher Education and Education Specialties departments into four new departments that focus on student interests.

SU Graduates Education, Social Work Students in Germany
While stationed with the U.S. Air Force in Africa, Tyler Baldwin participated in the “Troops for Teachers” program. He helped six Djiboutian men learn conversational English and write sentences, telling stories from their lives.
Alumna Brian Cook Earns Digital Literacy Award by International Literacy Association
Brian Cook, a sixth grade English language arts teacher at Pocomoke Middle School, was named a regional recipient of the Technology and Literacy Award by the International Literacy Association.
