Internships are a
great way to gain practical experience in any field you wish to
pursue. The internship opportunities offered through the Communication
Arts Department are no different. Opportunities exist in all
endeavors including public relations, theater, or broadcasting.
Internships can be with local organizations or with nationwide companies.
To name just a few,
students have had internships with the Daily Times of Salisbury,
CNN, WBOC, WMDT, WBAL radio and TV, WRC, WTTG, Fox Television Washington,
Peninsula Regional Medical Center, The Town of Delmar, and Peninsula
Bank.
An informational booklet
with an internship application is available in the Department office,
Fulton Hall 261, on the chess board bulletin
board on the 2nd floor of Fulton Hall or can be
opened
in pdf (you must have adobe reader to read
these files) by clicking on the links. You can also view just the
forms
from the packet. You must have the Acrobat Reader in order to view
the files. Application deadlines are usually at least one
week prior to program planning.
