The Rho Eta chapter of Kappa Delta Pi promotes excellence in and recognizes outstanding contributions to education. This honor society endeavors to maintain a high degree of professional fellowship and growth among its members. Qualifications for membership are academic achievement and leadership in education.

This is a social fraternity founded in 1400 in Bologna Italy. It was brought to the United States in 1869 and was founded at the University of Virginia. Currently it is one of the largest college fraternities in the U.S.
