To encourage interested students to share in fellowship with other university students while positively presenting the message and person of Jesus Christ. To provide a caring and compassionate ministry to students and other members of the campus community who seek to integrate an understanding of the Christian faith within the academic and social environment of the university. To deal with issues which are of common interest to members and others who wish to participate. Description:
The purpose of the Women in Leadership organization is to empower students to reach their full leadership potential while perusing higher education. It is a student organization formed as part of the University System of Maryland Womens Forum (USMFM). The Women in Leadership organization allows students to discover and learn from unique challenges facing women in the leadership roles. The organization also provides a foundation network of women in leadership roles in order to teach students how to use available resources to build their own professional network.

WXSU, which broadcasts live 17 hours a day from the second floor of the University Center, offers students experience in the field of radio. Experience is not limited to on-air personalities. Other members work behind the scenes in production, advertising sales, sports, news and promotions.
