Description:
The purpose of the Math & Computer Science Club is to assist all interested students in the further exploration of mathematical and computer science related activities and to provide a social atmosphere for any interested student to congregate and interact with other students of similar interest. The organization also promotes participation in the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) and its conferences, activities, and contests. In addition, the club will induct any interested and eligible students into the mathematical honor society, Pi Mu Epsilon.

The Medical Careers Society is an organization for those students who are considering a career in nursing, medicine, dentistry, veterinary work, or any other health related field. Some programs are of general interest, but are planned to serve the specific needs of the pre-med or pre-dental students. Visiting physicians and other professionals provide interesting insight, guidance, and the opportunity for informal discussions.

The purpose of this student chapter at SU is to adhere to the laws that are governed by Allah through the Holy Quran and to present Islamic principles to Muslims and non-Muslims.
