The daily grind at NOC....
Well, we don’t want to reveal too much information about our plans specifically, so be prepared for anything! Throughout the week we will be rafting class III rapids; climbing on a 20/40ft. ropes course; repelling off of a 90ft. alpine tower; “walking” a small part of the Appalachian Trail; canoeing; mountain biking; and many other exciting activities to make this trip one of the best experiences you will have in college. The schedule for each day will be revealed the night before when we meet to process the day. The best thing you can bring with you is an open mind, and desire to grow. Feel free to visit the NOC website at www.noc.com to learn more information. What else can we tell you....well you eat "very well" at NOC. Relia's Garden (click on the picture below for more dining information) serves family style meals daily and three times a day. Breakfast can typically feature anything french toast, pancakes, eggs, etc. Lunch usually is sandwiches outside either along the river or near the climbing sites. For the vegetarians...you're going to love the homemade hummus (even the meat eaters will be able to appreciate it). Dinners are just as filling as breakfast, and are complemented by a healthy serving of Sweet Tea. The days we spend
traveling to and from NC will be covered with either money we
provide you or food purchased by the By the way, did we mention that Sweet Tea is served like water in NC. This southern delicacy in itself is a real treat!!
