Statement on Unrecognized Groups
The fraternities and/or sororities listed below
were once recognized by Salisbury University, but have had their
recognition revoked for various reasons,
including, but not limited to:
hazing, alcohol and drug infractions, risk management violations,
and/or failure to comply with University policies and expectations.
The following groups have lost University and/or
National recognition in the past five years:
- Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity: Suspended by University
and National organization through Summer 2015; eligible at the end of Summer 2015 for review to return as an active SU fraternity for Fall 2015, on probation thereafter through Spring Semester 2017.
- Tau Kappa
Epsilon Fraternity: Suspended by University and National organization
through Summer 2015.
Please note that some fraternities and/or sororities
once recognized on campus may attempt to operate off campus, despite
having lost recognition from the University.
