McAfee Antivirus is the
recommended antivirus program for Salisbury
University's network, as well as for SU's ResNet campus
network. McAfee is available for download for free from
our website for personal use, and is automatically
installed on all SU owned computers.
McAfee AntiVirus Enterprise has a perpetual license,
which means that it is good for as long as it is
installed on your computer. The software includes
antivirus protection, automatic updates
and a variety of other features including scheduling and
port blocking.
McAfee Antispyware - Windows
XP/Vista Only
McAfee Antispyware is the
recommended antispyware program for Salisbury
University's network, as well as for SU's ResNet campus
network. McAfee is available for download for free from
our website for personal use.
McAfee Antispyware
Enterprise has a perpetual license, which means that it
is good for as long as it is installed on your computer.
The software is a plug-in for
McAfee Antivirus Enterprise, so it is required to have
the McAfee Antivirus software installed prior to
installing the McAfee Antispyware Enterprise.
Other Antivirus/Antispyware
Other Antivirus and Antispyware products are
supported on RESNET and on the wireless network.
