Apostille Procedures

Diploma

1. Complete the Notary Service Request form on our webpage Complete the Notary Service Request form and submit it to our office: Notarized Document Request

2. Send the original diploma to Salisbury University, 1101 Camden Ave, Attn: Registrar, Salisbury,
    MD 21801. If you do not have the original please place an order on our Parchment website for a
    duplicate diploma to be mailed to our office ($50 fee for each diploma):

3. We will then notarize the diploma and return to you. You can pick it up in the Registrar’s Office
    (Holloway Hall Room 120) or we can mail it to you. If you decide to pick it up please bring a
    current photo ID with you. If you are having someone else pick up the diploma they must have
    a written permission letter from you directing us to release the diploma to them and they will
    need to bring their photo ID.

4. If you need to complete the full apostille process:
     a. You will need to take the notarized diploma to the Wicomico County Court House,
         Attn: Clerks Office, 101 North Division St, Room 105, Salisbury, Maryland 21801
         Phone - (410) 543-6551 for verification and seal.

     b. To complete the State of Maryland process please follow the directions for State of Maryland
         Certification: http://www.courts.state.md.us/clerks/wicomico/index.html

 

Transcript:

1. Complete the Notary Service Request form on our webpage Complete the Notary Service Request form and submit it to our office: Notarized Document Request

2. Place an order for an official paper transcript to be picked-up in the Registrar’s Office on our Parchment website ($7 fee for each transcript): http://www.salisbury.edu/registrar/transcripts.html

3. Once we have the official transcript, we will attach the notarized letter and return it to you. You can pick it up in the Registrar’s Office (Holloway Hall Room 120) or we can mail it to you. If you decide to pick it up please bring a current photo ID with you. If you are having someone else pick it up they must have a written permission letter from you directing us to release the transcript to them and they will need to bring their photo ID.
