Request for Out-of-State Motor Coach
Transportation
In-State Travel
Salisbury University Motor Pool has the first right of refusal for all
in-state trips. When booking this category of trip, an SU Work Order
must be submitted to the Motor Pool Office (MB-123). Please be sure to
include the following information:
- Size of group
- Departure location
- Destination
- Departure time
- Estimated return time
The Motor Pool’s fleet includes the following:
- 1 - 32 passenger
- 3 - 29 passenger
- 1 - 21 passenger
- 1 - 28 Passenger with Handicap Access
All questions regarding travel handled by the Salisbury University
Motor Pool should be directed to
Colleen Kirby at extension 36211.
The Motor Pool may turn down a trip for reasons such as: too large a
group, too great a distance, or all the buses are booked. If the Motor
Pool cannot provide a group transportation, the group should submit a
request to the Auxiliary Services Purchasing Office (CB-206) in
accordance with procedures for out-of-state travel.
Out of State Travel via Motor Coach, Mini-Bus, or
Van
To request an out of state charter bus,
please submit a completed
SU Requisition For Commodities/Supplies
and Services form to the University's Auxiliary Services Purchasing
Office (CB-206). The request should be submitted far enough in advance
to insure that the appropriate transportation will be available.
When booking this category of trip, please be
sure to include the following information:

Size of bus desired; the University
currently has access to both 47 and 55 passenger buses (the larger
size has limited availability)

Destination

Departure time
-
Estimated return time

Travel times may need to be adjusted as
they are subject to current DOT rules and regulations.
