Salisbury University faculty and staff joined President Janet Dudley-Eshbach to celebrate the season during the annual President’s Holiday Social in the Fireside Lounge of the Guerrieri University Center. Festivities included holiday songs performed by the SU Chorale, under the direction Dr. William Folger, Music Department chair. The President also announced nominees for this year's University System of Maryland Board of Regents Faculty and Staff Awards for Excellence. Spotlighted were Dr. David Johnson of the English Department, Dr. Lisa Seldomridge of the Nursing Department, Dr. Anjali Pandey of the English Department, Matt Hill of Event Services, Nikki Dyer of Student Disability Support Services and Brenda Grodzicki of the English Department. All attendees had the opportunity to enjoy refreshments and win items including SU sweatshirts, water bottles and other gear during a series of door prize drawings. In addition, Tony Pasquariello of the SU Comptroller’s Office won an iPad, the third raffled off this semester to those who donated $5 or more to the Maryland Charities Campaign. SU’s commitment to community service also continued through the many employees who donated non-perishable goods for the Maryland Food Bank.
