ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Salisbury University President Janet Dudley-Eshbach accepted the ALS Association’s Ice Bucket Challenge this week from the campus’ field hockey team and Head Coach Dawn Chamberlin. Members of the team took a break from fall practice to drench the President, along with Athletics Director Michael Vienna.

“Our athletes wanted to show Sea Gull support for this important cause, and we knew the President and Dr. Vienna would too,” Chamberlin said.

Dudley-Eshbach extended the challenge to Frostburg State University President Jonathan Gibralter, while Vienna called out his Frostburg colleague, Troy Dell. As of this week, the ALS Association says it has raised over $100 million in donations since #ALSIceBucketChallenge went viral on social media in late July.
