All students must also demonstrate mid-level proficiency in a foreign language
by completing a 202-level language course with a grade of C or better or by
scoring above 202 level on a placement test.
All courses in the major must be completed with a grade of C or better.
While not part of the major requirements, students are encouraged to take
advantage of internship opportunities in government, businesses and in
non-governmental organizations.
