3:20 A.M. Saturday morning, a student was approached by four men while he was standing outside of Chesapeake Hall. One of the men asked him for a cigarette. At this time, the suspects started to hit and kick the student. They then went through his pants pockets looking for any contents.
A student was standing outside of St. Martin Hall and heard the incident occurring. That student called University Police and yelled at the suspects. The suspects ran from the area toward the St. Martin parking lot. Another student saw the suspects running on Lorecrop Drive and observed the suspects get into a white car and drive away.
The victim was treated at PRMC and released.
The suspects are described as follows:
- African American male, approx. 20 years old, 5'10"-6'0", thin build, wearing a black & blue winter coat and a baseball cap.
- African American male, approx. 20 years old, 6'2"-6'3", thin build, wearing black pants, black insulated jacket, and a black cap.
- African American male, approx. 20 years old, wearing a red and black coat and a black stocking cap.
- African American male, approx. 20 years old, no further description.
