Recent Off-Campus Incidents (March 2, 2004)

February 28, 2004
On 2/28/04 at 2:06 a.m. the Salisbury Police were called to a student's residence on North Blvd. to investigate a burglary and robbery.  The student reported that 4-6 men entered his house and took a small amount of money along with his wallet.  Some of the suspects wore bandanas or ski masks on their faces.  The victim was hit in the head several times and his head was covered with a pillow during part of the incident.  The suspects ran from the house in an unknown direction.

On 2/28/04 at 3:20 a.m. a resident of University Park reported to the Salisbury Police that, while he was walking with a friend on South Division Street, a man yelled to him.  He kept walking, but the man approached him and demanded money.  The student emptied his pockets and the man fled in the direction of Halsey Drive.

On 2/28/04 at 5:55 a.m. a resident of Seagull Village reported to the Salisbury Police that she was awakened by a noise in her apartment.  She saw a man in the apartment at which time she yelled at him.  The man turned and ran from the apartment.  Access to the apartment was gained by an unlocked door.

March 2, 2004
On 3/2/04 at 12:09 a.m. a former student reported to the Salisbury Police that four or five men broke into his apartment on Onley Road.  One of the men hit him in the head with a handgun.  He was forced to turn what money he had over to them.
