The following information is being provided in a press release from the Salisbury Police Department:
Off Campus Home Invasion/Armed Robbery:
At approximately 12:18 a.m. on Friday, 11/8/02, officers of the Salisbury Police Department responded to Seagull Village in reference to a home invasion/robbery that had occurred. Two males armed with handguns entered the apartment and demanded money. An undetermined amount of cash was taken from one of the victims. The suspects were described as follows:
- Black male with dark freckles around his eyes, approx. 6'3"-6'4", 240 lbs. He was wearing a black and white bandana around his head, a black gator half ski mask covered his nose and mouth. He was also wearing a big, black puffy coat, black baggy pants and black boots.
- Black male, dark skin, 6'0", 170 lbs. A black and white bandana covered his face. He was wearing a black puffy coat with the hood pulled up. The coat had a green stripe toward the center with the word "starter" on it. He was also wearing black baggy pants and black boots.
Burglary/Sexual Assault:
On 11/8/02 at approximately 6 a.m. officers of the Salisbury Police Department responded to Margaret Street in reference to a burglary and sexual assault. The victim was asleep when she was awakened by the suspect and sexually assaulted. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'5", thin build, wearing a dark shirt and jeans.
