Celebration for Scholarships and Awards – March 2016
Some 80 students and benefactors attended Salisbury University’s third annual Celebration for Scholarships and Awards, enjoying lunch and conversations with each other. The event connects donors with the students who benefit from their generosity. Alumnus E. Niel Carey ’56, a lifelong educator and the benefactor of the Seidel School’s Carey-Simmons Scholarship, shared why he and his wife, Helen, give back to SU, especially to support education and the Nabb Center. Three students also spoke: junior Catherine Raley and seniors Tim Matis and Tyler Wilson. All shared their appreciation for their scholarships and awards.
