  • Read your degree progress report and see your Faculty Advisor with any questions you may have.

  • Sign-up and attend Group Scheduling to have your schedule reviewed and approved for the next semester.

General Education Course Information

** Take Math 100 if you need to improve your algebra skills before taking MATH 155 or 160.  Your schedule may be adjusted during your first week of class if you are uncertain about the math course you choose.  Please talk to your mathematics professor to review your math placement decision.  

Program Planning Information

What will happen?

  • Students will sign up for Group Scheduling Workshops at the link below.
  • During the schedule planning appointment, students will have their schedule approved and their registration window activated.  Questions about program requirements, General Education requirements, and admission to the Perdue School will also be answered.

When will the appointments start?

  • Appointments begin in October or March (click the link below for times).  Times vary by day and include limited evening times.
  • These sessions begin earlier than the University scheduled advising and program planning time. Students attend the schedule planning session INSTEAD of making an appointment with their faculty advisor to discuss their schedule. Faculty advisors are available by appointment to answer other questions. 
  • Students will begin registering for classes on GullNet according to their earned credit hours after attending Group Scheduling.

What to bring?

  • Degree-progress report (printed off of GullNet)
  • A completed checklist for your major (found on the SU website or in Holloway Hall on the first and third floors)
  • A list of planned classes
  • Paper and pencil
