National Business Women’s Week 2010
The Perdue School of Business is recognizing National Business Women’s Week, October 18-22. Since 1928, this week has acknowledged the accomplishments of working women and their important role in the business community. For the first time, the Perdue School of Business will be celebrating this week with accomplished business women guest lecturers; video interviews from inspirational business women; awards for two of our outstanding student women leaders; and a featured speaker, Ms. Eileen F. Burza, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Perdue Farms. Ms. Burza is hosting a staff and faculty brown bag luncheon, a student forum, and she is the Executive Leadership Series speaker.
The featured video interviews were conducted by a senior Student Business Leader, Janessa Wolf. She interviewed Lili Kohr, Owner of Tiger Lili, a fashion boutique; Jennifer Layton, Project Manager at Matech, past Bernstein Award participant with a winning business plan that helped her open Layton’s Chance Vineyard and Winery; and Kim Lutch, Senior Associate with the Becker Morgan Group, Inc and Co-chair of the Young Professionals Committee.
